Senior Software Engineer (Java/JavaScript Specialism)
We look to our senior software engineers as members of our A-team. They are experts in their field: fundamental to the design, development and delivery of software solutions. They provide support to other members of the software team.
In this role, you will act as both a senior software engineer and a lead consultant. You will be working in an established consultancy, operating in both private and public sectors.

Job Duties:
- Develop high-quality software design and low level architecture designs
- Identify, prioritise and execute tasks in the software development life-cycle
- Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
- Review and debug code
- Perform validation and verification testing
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to fix and improve products
- Document development phases and monitor systems
- Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of development experience

- Deep knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Solid understanding of various operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows)
- Familiarity with automating infrastructure provisioning using Ansible or Docker Containers
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
